Dinko Franceschi
Dinko Franceschi, MD, is a board-certified nuclear medicine physician and radiologist. He is currently an associate professor of radiology at Stony Brook University SOM in New York and is affiliated with multiple hospitals in the area, including Stony Brook University Hospital and St. Charles Hospital.
Education and Training
Franceschi received his medical degree from the University of Zagreb Faculty of Medicine. He completed Nuclear Medicine Residencies at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine and Brigham and Women's Hospital/Harvard Medical School. He then went on to complete a Nuclear Medicine Fellowship at Stony Brook Medicine, where he served as Chief of Nuclear Medicine and Director of Clinical PET in the Department of Radiology.

In addition to his clinical work, Franceschi has also been involved in research at Harvard Medical School, where he used probabilistic modeling to study the effects of genetic variation on disease. He has also worked on human gene regulation at the Broad Institute of MIT and Harvard.
