Eirini Arvaniti

Biography

Eirini Arvaniti is a researcher and PhD student at ETH Zurich, where she works on machine learning for the prediction and interpretation of disease phenotypes from diverse biomedical datasets. Arvaniti's PhD focuses on weakly-supervised learning approaches, aiming to obtain accurate predictions while reducing the need for expensive domain-expert annotations.

Career

Arvaniti has worked with various universities and institutions throughout her career. She is currently a Scientific Research Associate & Adjunct Professor at the Hellenic Open University, where she has been since 2020. She has also held teaching positions at the University of Cyprus, Hellenic Mediterranean University, University of Liverpool, and University of Hull.
