Hyunwoo Song
Hyunwoo Song is a researcher and academic with expertise in artificial intelligence, machine learning, and finance. He has contributed to various research projects and publications in these fields.
Education and Academic Positions
Song obtained his Bachelor's degree in College of IT Engineering from Korea University, where he later enrolled in the Graduate School of Artificial Intelligence. He has also completed a Master's degree in Artificial Intelligence and is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in the same field.
Song is currently an Artificial Intelligence Researcher at the Korea University, Industry-University Collaboration Center, starting in June 2023. Prior to this, he held research positions at various institutions, including:

- Development of an AI-based golf swing analysis algorithm for Voice Caddie
- Development of High-Resolution Unstructured Plenoptic Video Authoring/Play Platform Technology
- Miso AI Model Development Competition, where he developed a model to predict infant developmental levels
- 'Anti-Drone Turret' project to address drone-related terrorism and incidents
- 'AI Mushroom Guidebook App' to help users identify mushrooms and prevent poisoning
- Autonomous driving experience project using VR headset & FPV autonomous RC car
