Joshua Bambrick is a Senior AI Research Engineer at Isomorphic Labs in London, England. He previously worked at Bloomberg as part of their London Machine Learning team. Bambrick was also recognised as Microsoft-Sponsored E-Learning Pupil of the Year for a technical project that was used as an exam board case study and presented in Vienna, Austria, and Salvador, Brazil.
Bambrick has worked on publications such as "Falsesum: Generating Document-level NLI Examples for Recognizing Factual Inconsistency in Summarization", presented at the North American Chapter of the Association for Computational Linguistics (NAACL) in 2022. He has also published "NSTM: Real-time Query-Driven News Overview Composition at Bloomberg", which discusses a new kind of summarization engine for news articles.
Bambrick was the youngest member of the London Machine Learning team at Bloomberg, where he directed the engineering and research of a multi-document summarization system and was co-chairman of the company's 1,000-member Machine Learning Guild. He then moved to Isomorphic Labs, a startup under the Alphabet umbrella, where he is working to revolutionise the drug design process using AI.
