Tomasz Żok is an assistant professor in the Laboratory of Algorithm Design and Programming Systems at the Institute of Computing Science, Poznan University of Technology. He received his PhD in Computer Science and Bioinformatics in 2018 and has been a part of various professional societies and groups, including the Polish Bioinformatics Society and the G4 Society.
Research Focus
Żok's research focuses on RNA 3D structure prediction and modelling, the comparison of RNA 3D and 2D structures, and the analysis of extended RNA structures, including non-canonical and pseudoknotted configurations. He is also interested in scientific workflows orchestration and has worked on projects related to DevOps, Docker, and Ansible.
